If We Must Face the Storm - Christmas Contest

Their muscles were sore and their thick fur ruffled in the wind. "Chex..." The large male wolf dog called to the creature at his side, "are you alright? Can you hang on any longer?"
"I-im fine..." No she wasn't she had heart problems and they still forced her to run in the damn weather. She was freezing and her heart was beating erratically from all the work she had exerted. She couldn't pull this sled any longer but the storm was getting worse and worse. They had to get to a cave or someplace where they can build a fire and stay warm.
"Chex... look at me." She looked up at him despite the snow now blowing in her face and making it hard to see. "if we must face the storm," he said as he put a paw ontop of her raised one both beaming at eachother dispite everything, "We'll face it together. Even if it takes us down."

The theme was Cold/freezing so this became of that. Anyways.... It was good to draw a real picture for once. And honestly i started this before i found out about the contest it just seemed to work so yeah here ya go.
